Mountain travel is different from a regular holiday. Weather, snowfall, road conditions and local administration can affect travel plans. Our team continuously monitors the route and works to provide the safest and most practical itinerary possible.

If required, the itinerary may be modified according to actual road and weather conditions.

IMPORTANT WINTER TRAVEL INFORMATION

Winter travel in Spiti requires flexibility. Heavy snowfall, icy roads, extreme temperatures, road closures and local administration restrictions can affect the itinerary.

High-altitude village visits such as Langza, Hikkim, Komic, Kibber and Chicham are subject to road and weather conditions.

The Chandratal – Kunzum – Manali route is seasonal and should only be included when the route is officially accessible and suitable for travel.

During peak winter, the Spiti expedition normally operates through the Shimla – Kinnaur side instead.
